Ethiopian Orthodox Church Expresses Its Support for the War on Tigray

In response to Abiy Ahmed’s call for his support for his war on Tigray, themed “I stand with the Defense Forces”, EBC reports that the church organized a program and expressed its support for the war. EBC reports the program was opened and blessed by Abune Matias (the patriarch) and a prayer was held.
