2nd Tigray-Ethiopia Commanders Meeting in Nairobi
The African Union Commission convenes 2nd Tigray-Ethiopia Senior Commanders Meeting on the Implementation of the Permanent Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (COHA).
The meeting resulted in the Term of Reference (ToR) of the Joint Monitoring, Verification and Compliance Mechanism (JMVCM). The meeting also discussed the implementation of the Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR) process.

Even though it has been full 50 days since the so called peace agreement was signed and hardly most of the agreements were not upheld by the Ethiopian Govt, hearing U. Kenyatta saying a “tremendous progress has been made” felt like a sharp stab to my wounded heart! How could he call it a progress in the continued presence of enemy aka “foreign” forces who have been commiting atrocities against humanity in occupied areas, having very limited humanitarian aid (24% in Tigray Vs 80-90% in other areas), “fake” banking service in occupied areas only where Tigrayans can’t access their bank accounts but ONLY can get $$ sent from diaspora NOT even from Addis or any other part of Ethiopia (only through money exchange or “hawala” service) which makes me believe that Abiy had used up ALL of Tigrayans money in Tigray banks to buy the very killing machines he used on them – how sickening to think your own $$ was used to kill you and/or your fellow Tegaru, no internet service anywhere in Tigray, cell phone services in ONLY occupied areas that is believed to be tapped (because of reports of retaliation against those who shared information via cellphone conversations with family members living outside of Tigray), limited electricity service (in Shire area it only started a week ago), and no water service. He kept saying too how “they” were going to go to Mekelle to “observe & verify actions!” Why Mekelle? Why don’t you go to Shire, Axum, Adwa, Welqayit, Raya where the invaders are? Why you didnt act the last 50 days to prevent all the deaths & atrocities that could have been prevented if you really cared about the innocent people of Tigray? How could anyone trust you or the African Union to really be a source of solution to African problems? Is this what African mediation is supposed to be like? The fact that you limit questions to 2-3 every time you gave a press release makes me feel like you are trying to avoid facing your giants. The question about Eritrean force presence in Tigray was great, but your answer was a shady one. You couldn’t you admit that you failed the people of Tigray by allowing the bloody criminals to continue their crime against humanity in Tigray? Ohhhh!!! What is there left to say except Lord have mercy on my people? I have always been grateful to come from Africa. Nowadays, I wish that Tigray was not part of Africa!

Z AU never admitted/ condemned Eritrean invasion/atrocities of Tigray
AU never demanded for lifting the siege/full access of investigators media outlets. AU never demanded for the release of the 10s of 000s of Tegaru suffering in undisclosed concentration camps. AU shall be brought before z court for failing the people of Tigray in the faces genocide.
